NFL Team Needs: AFC North

I'll just go ahead and get this out of the way. I went to the University of Cincinnati, have friends and family in the area, and live about an hour north of the city. I've been in bars where fights break out whenever Pittsburgh comes to town. So, needless to say, the AFC North is a part of my life. The worst part, for me at least, is that the power dynamic appears to be shifting. The Steelers still remain the powerhouse of the division, but Sashi Brown's genius has put the Browns back on the map. Cincinnati still needs help…

Fantasy Football: Week 16 Wide Receiver Matchup Report

Antonio Brown left Week 15 with a partially torn calf muscle and will not play in Week 16. This is a significant blow for fantasy owners as we head to the fantasy championship round. There is no easy fix for replacing fantasy’s overall WR1. One player who may help soften the blow to fantasy owners in Week 16 is Brown’s teammate, Martavis Bryant. Bryant entered 2017 with huge expectations after missing 2016 due to suspension. He was drafted as a low-WR2 in most leagues but has been a massive disappointment. Bryant enters Week…

Fantasy Football: Week 9 Recap

You can't really say Week 9 was crappy, but it certainly wasn't supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, either. There were a couple of blowouts, a few tight wins for the Cowboys and Raiders, but all in all, it was another so-so week in the NFL. One thing was pretty clear, though, the 2016 draft class game to play. Owners enjoyed big games from two second-year QBs, and Travis Kelce even surprised us with an imaginary potato sack race in the end zone. Fantasy wise, some of you will now hate A.J. Green, while others fall further in…

Fantasy Football: Rest-of-Season Rankings

It's hard to believe that we're already halfway through the NFL season. With the calendar turning to November in a few days, that likely means that the trade deadline in your fantasy league is around the corner. What better way to get ready for the trade deadline than with some updated rest-of-season rankings? That was a trick question; there is no better way.All right, you didn't open this article to hear me talk. You came for the rankings. So, without further ado, my fantasy football positional rankings for the rest of…

Fantasy Football 2017: Updated WR Rankings

I guess this is the part where we talk about Odell Beckham Jr. again. He's dealing with a sprained ankle that could force him to miss a game or two, hence why he's moved down the rankings from No. 3 to No. 4. It's still possible that he's ready to go come Week 1, but drafting an already injured player could be fatal. He's still worth a first-round pick, but the glass really is half empty here. His tantrum following the tackle scared me more than the injury itself, and if we've learned anything from Dez Bryant, it's that you…
