Wed Jan 22, 2020 11:07 PM

WORCESTER, Ma. (AP) Matt Faw scored 22 points, tying his career high, as Holy Cross rallied from 17 points down and defeated Lehigh 96-95 in overtime on Wednesday night.

Joe Pridgen scored seven of his 20 points in overtime, including a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining that were just enough for the the Crusaders (3-17, 2-5 Patriot League) to survive a last-second 3 from Lehigh's Jordan Cohen.

Faw scored a 3-pointer late in regulation to bring the Crusaders within three, then assisted on Ryan Wade's trey to knot the game with eight seconds left and force overtime. Faw hit 5 of 6 3-pointers. He added nine rebounds and four blocks. Pridgen also had nine rebounds and five assists.

Connor Niego had 19 points for Holy Cross, which ended a four-game losing streak. Ryan Wade added 16 points.

The 96 points were a season best for Holy Cross.

Cohen scored a career-high 34 points for the Mountain Hawks (5-14, 2-5). Evan Taylor added 17 points and seven rebounds. Marques Wilson had 17 points and six rebounds.

Holy Cross takes on Boston University at home on Saturday. Lehigh takes on Lafayette at home on Saturday.
