Tampa Bay Rays shortstop prospect Willy Adames was sent to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday after going hitless against the Tigers to drop his season line to .216/.263/.341 with three home runs in over 95 plate appearances. Adames is the team's top prospect, but he could use a little more seasoning after striking out around 36 percent of the time. Infielder Christian Arroyo (oblique) could come off the disabled list to take Adames' spot on the roster. Adames' demotion is good news for the playing time of Joey Wendle and Daniel Robertson, but expect Adames to be back up at some point in the second half of the season. He should be stashed in dynasty leagues.
