AMHERST, Mass. (AP) Luwane Pipkins scored 13 points with two steals and four assists and Massachusetts opened up in the second half to defeat Holy Cross 64-50 Wednesday night and snap a four-game losing streak.

Unique McLean added 11 points for the Minutemen (4-5) and Malik Hines and C.J. Anderson scored 10 each. Hines and Anderson also grabbed eight rebounds apiece as UMass out-boarded Holy Cross 36-25.
