SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Frankie Ferrari had 18 points and Souley Boum added 13 as San Francisco roared out to an early lead and held on to beat Pacific 69-67 on Thursday night.
San Francisco (12-10, 4-5 West Coast Conference) will be at No. 15 Gonzaga on Saturday.
Pacific trailed throughout but closed to 65-63 after Lafayette Dorsey drilled a 3-pointer with 53 seconds left. Jimbo Lull then calmly sank two free throws for enough lead to withstand Jahlil Tripp's layup with 14 seconds remaining. Ferrari made two free throws to seal the win.
Ferrari nailed a 3-pointer to start the game and scored 10 of San Francisco's first 14 points as the Dons opened the game on a 12-0 sprint to take a 39-27 advantage into the break.
Miles Reynolds completed a 3-point play to close to 54-52 midway in the second half. Jordan Ratinho nailed a trey for a 65-57 lead with 3:37 left.
Pacific (10-12, 5-4) has dropped its last six meetings in San Francisco and has not won at War Memorial Gym since December 5, 2007.
Reynolds had 19 points and Tripp 17 for the Tigers.
